Project Overview on Old York Road Rehabilitation
The awarded project, Old York Road from Manor Road to Paper Mill Road, was completed in August 2025 for the Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation. Spanning approximately 2.5 miles, the project focused on restoring a heavily traveled roadway while ensuring long-term durability and performance. Key elements of the work included:
- Patching and surface preparation across deteriorated sections
- Placement of approximately 8,400 tons of asphalt
- Installation of a two-inch surface course using a 12.5 mm mix with 20% recycled asphalt pavement (RAP)
This project reflects Gray & Son’s commitment to both quality construction and sustainable practices through the use of recycled materials.
