Our commitment to safety is second to none. Since our beginning in 1908, we’ve strived to maintain the safest job sites on the East Coast for not only our team but also for our community members.
Each jobsite operates in accordance with OSHA and any applicable state and environmental regulations to eliminate accidents and ensure that everyone makes it home safe at the end of the day.
Training
Our team is only as good as its training. That’s why we take the time to thoroughly train each and every Gray & Son team member on jobsite safety.

The future is now. We’re proud to utilize industry-leading technology to help increase efficiency and reduce accidents and errors.
Equipment
Our fleet of equipment is routinely under maintenance to ensure that each truck, roller, and paver is operating at peak condition every day.
Safety Recognition
Our commitment to safety has earned us numerous awards and recognitions. We’re proud to be the recipient of over 25 safety-related awards, including the 2022 Chesapeake Region Safety Council’s Platinum Award of Excellence in Construction, recognition from the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association, 10 consecutive years of recognition from the ABC and nine consecutive years of recognition from the MTBMA.
